I Give You the WORLD: an awesome, easy, and meaningful gift idea for your spouse

I give you the WORLD!

Several years ago my husband and I decided that we would forgo large, extravagant Christmas gifts for each other and opt instead to sneak away to our favorite Bed and Breakfast for an evening. The gift of time together has been an absolutely incredible way to start the sometimes crazy holiday season. Then on Christmas we would just fill stockings for one another, focusing more on meaningful gifts. What a GREAT decision it was! While it's not always easy to come up with ideas, for me the thrill is in the thought behind a gift. Anyone can go buy a hoodie, scarf or gift card, but a gift with thought or special meaning is ALWAYS my favorite to both give and get!

This year I came up with a super awesome idea, that I thought I would share with you :)

Our family has always enjoyed travelling. We've had some awesome trips but have only scratched the surface as far as the places we want to go. With my youngest son heading to college in the Fall of 2015 I know my husband and I are hoping to do more travelling both with our sons and as a couple, that is what brought about my idea to give my husband the world for Christmas!

I found an awesome Wall Pops world map at Tuesday Morning for $9.99. You can also order it online HERE. Wall Pops are great because they are removable and don't do any damage to the wall beneath.

That was the easy part... now to come up with a note to include that would explain the gift!

Add a clever little note.

I also included a pack of sticker dots so that we could mark the places we've been. I created a sticker with my printer that said Let's Travel the World Together. And that was it!! It turned out cuter than I'd even imagined and he LOVED it.

Let's travel the world together :)

And the bonus was when we started placing the sticker dots we had such fun reminiscing about our travels!

Who knows where we'll go next!!

This gift would be great for anyone that loves to travel. And it's a great way to keep track of the places you've been!! ~XOXO jules
